Mr. Kimball is a retired Executive Vice President from Sun Trust/Central Carolina Bank and Trust Company where he worked for 32 years in various management positions in the Triangle area. His last two positions were Triangle Regional Executive and Director of Commercial and Private Banking for the holding company of CCB. Prior to joining CCB, he served as a Captain in the United States Air Force for almost five years. Mr. Kimball received an AB Degree from Duke University, an MBA from the University of North Carolina and is a graduate of the School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. Some of Mr. Kimball’s previous activities have included:
- Past Chairman of the Board of the American Heart Association, North Carolina Affiliate
- Chairman of the Chapel Hill - Carrboro Chamber of Commerce
- President, East Chapel Hill Rotary Club
- Chairman, Administrative Board of University United Methodist Church
