Mr. Grossberg currently serves as the Morris David Distinguished Professor of Communication Studies and Cultural Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Adjunct Professor of Anthropology and Geography, and Director of the University Program in Cultural Studies. Mr. Grossberg has received a number of awards both for his research and teaching (including a University of North Carolina Distinguished Teaching Award) and fellowships. His work has been translated into over a dozen languages. Mr. Grossberg is the co-editor of the influential journal Cultural Studies and serves on the editorial/advisory boards of over fifteen journals around the world, and has directed over 50 doctoral dissertations. He has lectured widely around the country and the world. In addition to serving on the Board at Galloway Ridge, he is an "ambassador" of Rivington Place, a new and innovative center for the multicultural arts in London.
