Board of Directors
Dr. Hammond, recently retired in 2003, completed her medical training at University of Florida and post graduate training at Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania and received a Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Washington. She served on the faculty at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology for fifteen years and in 1993 entered the private practice of Reproductive Endocrinology and Gynecology in Raleigh, NC. She served on the Board of Directors of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and served as President of the Society in 1996.
Dr. Hammond has lived in Fearrington Village since 1995. She served as Secretary of the Fearrington Home Owner’s Association Board of Directors and also served on the Fearrington Cares Board of Directors.
