Chatham County residents will soon be able to visit a Duke Primary Care Clinic in the northern section of our county.  Galloway Ridge at Fearrington has added a brand new outpatient clinic that will be open to the public and be managed and staffed by Duke University Health Systems.

"We are excited to offer a new medical option to Chatham County" said Heather Rusnak, Executive Director of Galloway Ridge at Fearrington.  "Having choice and quality medical care onsite is very important to our residents and we believe that the addition of the new medical clinic will be a win/win for us and the community at large."

The clinic will consist of a five patient exam rooms, a comfortable reception area and dedicated clinic parking.   The Duke Primary Care Clinic is a comprehensive internal medicine clinic for patients age 18 and older, with a specialized focus in geriatrics.  Although located on the campus of the Galloway Ridge retirement community, the clinic is open to the general public and offers a wide array of physician services from the treatment of acute and chronic illnesses to preventive medicine.

A projected opening date has not been finalized but is slated for early summer.
